I know what it's like to be bullied.  I got it for ten years between nine and nineteen.  I couldn't wait to be on my own and leave where I lived.  I have read "Odd Girl Out" and "Odd Girl Speaks Out" by Rachel Simmons.  In Odd Girl Speaks Out, Ms Simmons interviewed someone who had two goals: get into a popular group and bully somebody.

I found a saving grace in music, photography and art.  I play guitar, sing, play bass and keyboards, and record my music on my computer.  I also work in oil pastel and pencil.

Because my mother was a writer, I also write.

I got kicked, insulted, heard Anti-Semitic epithets (derogatory remarks leveled at a person of Jewish heritage), punched, particularly in grade school.  Even my parents had an attitude.  It's one thing if you have your classmates, but when your family goes against you, the pain is organic.

Mr. and Mrs. Epling, you guys are very wonderful parents to post this site.  You have my condolences over your son.
